What if my child cannot attend the event, can I still receive the benefit for shoes?
Answer:
No. Every approved child must be present with you at the event.

Can another person bring my child to the event?
Answer:
Yes, but send us a brief note/email naming the adult who is bringing the child.
Question:
Can all of my children receive the benefit for shoes if I have more than 3 children?
Answer:
No. The maximum per household is 3 children. Exceptions may apply to hardship/crisis situations.
Question:
Can I use the benefit to buy socks or other items in the shoe store?
Answer:
No. The benefit is for shoes only.

When will I know that my application has been approved?
Answer:
You will be notified of our decision of your request via email. If you do not have an email address please provide an email address of a family member, friend, social worker, etc. who will notify you of our decision.
Due to the volume of requests we cannot always guarantee a phone response.
If you have not received a response from us 24 hours prior to the event, then the event is closed and has reached its maximum pre-approvals or you were not approved for the benefit.
Question:
What if my child’s shoes cost more than the benefit allowed?
Answer:
The parent/guardian will have to pay the amount that exceeds the dollar limit in CASH.
Question:
What if I miss my shopping event?
Answer:
Any NO Shows will forfeit benefit. We cannot reschedule or guarantee future events.
